Paula Marie Nash, 58, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Saturday,April 6,2024.

Funeral services took place at 2 p.m.Friday,April 12,2024, at the Bowie Street Church of Christ in Wellington, Texas with Minister Joseph Thomas, of the Tabernacle of Praise in Ardmore, Okla., and Neal Stidolph, minister, officiating. Burial followed at North Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Adams Funeral of Wellington.

She was born on Jan. 21, 1966, in Wellington to Johnny Lee and Ruby Bishop Nash.

Raised in Wellington, Paula graduated with the Class of 1984. While at Wellington High School, she was an outstanding lefty on the basketball court and was an amazing softball player. She was blessed with one child, who was her pride and joy. She was also a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, no matter what.

Paula was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Patrick Nash and Maynard Thomas.

She is survived by her son, Nakia Nash (Tasha), of Amarillo; three grandchildren, K.J. Nash, Jaidan Cordova and Jaili Nash,all of Amarillo;her mom, Ruby Nash, of Wellington; 12 brothers, Jay Thomas, of Altus, Okla.,EdwardThomas (Charlene), of Carthage,Texas,Mike Thomas (Touna), of Saginaw, Texas, Darrell Thomas and Rodney Bishop, both of Wellington, Johnny Nash, of Pampa, Texas, Curtis Nash, of Saginaw, Carter Nash (Lupe), of Stillwater, Okla., Mack Davis (Wendy), of North Carolina, Henry Outley, of Clarendon, Texas, Pete Munn and John Paul Munn, both of Pampa; 10 sisters,Juda Nation,of Wellington, Jana Nash and Pamela Nash Sherel (Frank), both of Amarillo, Ella Roland (Gary Brown), of Wellington, Kim Skinner (Stephen), of Hobart, Okla., Johnnye Popick, of Arizona, Gloria Johnson, of Pampa, Tammy Ingram, of Hollis, Okla., Shamara Moore and LaShaun Moore, both of Dallas,Texas; her aunt, Bobbie Shrubs, of Wellington; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
